Osteopathic
Treatment

Osteopaths treat a wide range of musculo-skeletal or connective tissue dysfunctions that range from simple muscle or joint strains to more complex problems that involve multiple areas of the body.

Biodynamic
Osteopathy

Based on the principle that the body has its own inherent healing mechanism present throughout life. We are made perfect and if given healthy conditions to grow and develop, perfect health should be the result.

Fascial Counterstrain
Osteopathy

Addresses pain and stiffness by working with inflammatory mechanisms held within the fascia (connective tissue found everywhere in the body) and relieve it from the source. Well suited for more complex or chronic conditions where other treatments haven’t worked in the past, and those who prefer a gentler approach.

Treatment for
Babies & Children

A Biodynamic approach to Cranial Osteopathy  when providing treatment for babies and children. This approach provides an indirect Osteopathic treatment model that may be used to influence the musculo-skeletal components of a wide range of  symptoms and conditions in babies & children.

Osteopathy &
Pregnancy

Help to support the changes occurring in the mother’s body as her pregnancy progresses, through aiding the body’s natural adaptation and alignment during foetal development and the delivery process.

Taping (rigid or kinesio)

Taping is an adjunct to other treatments. Taping relies on the principles of de-loading an area.  Osteos may use tape to help reduce acute pain or to assist repositioning joints or muscles so they can function in better alignment.

 Dry needling

Dry needling is based on inserting fine needles into myofascial trigger points.  Trigger points can cause lingering pain in a region.  They often build up due to an injury, overuse, poor posture or movement dysfunctions.  Dry needling helps with pain management, reducing muscle tightness and increasing blood flow to a region.  It can often reach deep trigger points that our fingers can’t.
